ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY SITES

Working with teachers, parents and community members to develop activities and projects that engage students in community-based authentic learning and meeting building, district and state learning requirements, WFPA's Environmental Study Site program was established in 1998. The goal of the program is to improve student learning through use of an outdoor area on or near the school grounds. WFPA can support a team from your school to work with students to formulate questions on their school grounds and seek answers through research, experimentation and experience.
