TOSA
participants work side by side with professionals in timber companies.
Teachers are on assignment for six weeks and receive salary for their
work. Teachers involved in the program are required to develop a
lesson or unit that demonstrates how their work experience related to
learning standards in their classroom. Teachers also make a presentation to
their employer summarizing their work experience.
As part of the six week assignment, teachers tour the forest products cycle. |
