Exploring Environmental Issues: Focus on Risk

Module Overview: Through this module, students will learn the basics of risk assessment, risk management, and risk communication.  The module challenges students to use scientific processes and critical thinking, and decision-making skills toward environmental issues, public policy issues, and personal decisions.  The module may be used in its entirety, or activities can be used individually.  The module’s content is challenging, geared toward grades 9-12.
