Are you interested in developing an environmental study site at your school? Join us for a workshop where people with experience getting sites established help you work through plans to utilize a natural area near your school. By the end of the day you will have a strategic plan, lots of ideas and the information to get started. Registered teams will receive an ESS notebook.


PLT K-8  Heritage College

Through hands-on, integrated activities Project Learning Tree’s K-8 Guide provides students with opportunities to investigate the environment and encourages them to make informed, responsible decisions.  This introductory PLT course gives you 96 ready-to-use lessons to help you infuse environmental education into your existing curriculum. PLT has been correlated to the Essential Academic Learning Requirements, Foss science kits and Trailblazer math.


Writing Grants for your EE Project  WFPA

Learn about possible partnerships with organizations and the environmental resources they have available.  Emphasis will be on opportunities in King, Pierce, Thurston, Mason and Kitsap counties.  Participants will write short grant proposals at the workshop with the intent of submitting them before December 31st.  Limit 10 Participants
